The exhibition of DECORATIVE ART is a new cultural-artistic manifestation housed by the SENSO Gallery, comprising 11 most important visual artists: Cela Neamtu, Costel Iacob, Dan Bancila, Daniela Fainis, Ileana Dana Marinescu, Nicolae Moldovan, Jorge Mafu, Marius Burhan, Valeriu Schiau, Dumitru Traian Tili and Manuela Botis. The exhibition will be opened up to January 15, 2015.

Between 13-15 November 2014, at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, took place the celebration ceremonies of 100 years of foreign trade higher education and 40 years since the establishment of the Faculty of International Economic Relations.

Like every year, The Festival of Christmas trees is the ideal opportunity to demonstrate social solidarity by means of donations which go directly and in a transparent way to the children included in the programmes of the organisation Save the Children Romania. The beneficiaries of the funds which will be raised at the 2014 edition of the Festival of Christmas Trees will be 2.500 children from under-priviledged communities, included in education programmes.
The 2014 Danube Marathon, a successful ending of season for CATENA RACING TEAM. Organised by the Riders Club, the Danube Marathon mountain bike competition marked the end of the cycling competitive season.
The members of CATENA RACING TEAM lined up at the take-off of the competition which totted up no less than 45 kilometres of rugged field, with thick portions of mud and with foul wind! A genuine cycling marathon on the bank of the river, which gathered hundreds of participants. They started from the Prundu village and, although the weather got worse, the cold did not bother the bicyclists from the Cycling Danube Marathon, who enjoyed the diverse landscape along the Danube watercourse (South of the Giurgiu county, the 456-462 river km area).

At the Senso Gallery a new painting and tapestry exhibition of the artist Viorica Iacob, titled Land and waves was opened. The exhibition may be viewed up to 29 November 2014.
The exhibition Land and waves is built around five spectacular big size tapestries titled Moist land. Carefully conceived by the artist, the extremely refined coloured tapestries invite us to overfly the earth as if we overflew abreast the birds of the sky.
Lately, on the ground-floor of SENSO Art Gallery in Unirii Avenue, no. 15, has been opened and functions SENSO Cinecafe, one of the most beautiful cultural spaces in Bucharest. Lying in the centre, on Fantanilor Avenue, between Romania’s Parliament Palace and Romania’s Patriarchate Palace, this is the best spot to enjoy a good movie, a delicious coffee, a revitalising cocktail, delicatessen and autographed cakes.

FILDAS trading, one of the most important distributors of medicines on the Romanian market, was ranked Ist in the category Large companies, in the field Trade and tourism – wholesale market of pharmaceutical products on the County Top of Companies 2014, carried out by the Argeş Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The football team CATENA RACING TEAM made its first appearance at the competition Medical & Pharma Football Cup. This is one of the most famous competitions in Romania alloted to the football teams in the medical and pharmaceutic fields and it is organised by the Romanian Federation of Corporate Sport (RFCS), affiliated with the most important fora of corporate football: FIFCO (International Federation of Corporate Football) and UEFCO (Union Européenne de Football Corporatif).
A new European Bridges exhibition may be admired at the Art Museum in Constanţa up to October 16, 2014. European Bridges 2014 is a project upheld by the Fildas Art Foundation, the Creative Women’s Association for Plastic Arts in Romania, as organisers, and the Catena Pharmacies, by means of the Programme Catena for Art, as sponsor.
