In 1991, together with the appearance of the first private pharmacies, it also appeared the need to distribute the pharmaceutical products to the selling place. In the environment dominated by the state companies, it appears, on the Romanian market, the first company with entirely private capital, FILDAS, a name born from the passion of a professional. It was set up a company which will register the most spectacular increase rate on the Romanian market – from a turnover of 1.5 million dollars in 1992, to more than 125 million dollars in 2005. The company becomes in 1993 – Fildas Trading. The increase of the turnover, the fantastic development within a short period of time, the recognition obtained from the competitors and from the most important suppliers in the field, were the result of a huge collective effort, the dynamism, energy and dedication transmitted to the team by the founder.

FILDAS: the best results in its history

In a very difficult external context, in which 600 trading companies in the pharmaceutical field are in insolvency or bankruptcy, Fildas Group reported the best numbers in its 20 years history. The total sales in 2010 exceed 230 million EUR, the net profit exceeding 8 million EUR. The most important increases were registered by the products for the prevention and treatment of the cardiovascular diseases.
