Anca Vlad, the entrepreneur lady that started the Fildas group, activating in the pharmaceutical industry, says that she will continue the expansion of the pharmacy chain Catena in 2016, a business that already exceeded 550 shops. In the last year, Catena opened around 50 new pharmacies, as such, if the brand continues to expand in the same rhythm, by the end of 2016 it could reach the milestone of 600 units on the local market.

“The number of pharmacies activating under the Catena brand exceeded last year 550 pharmacies. Depending on the evolution of the pharmaceutical market and the legislative stability we will continue to be active with regard to the procurement of new pharmacies”, explains Anca Vlad, she who entered the medicine distribution in 1990, and ten years later developed the pharmacies business, after buying the company Argesfarm, a chain that at the time numbered 60 pharmacies.
