Senso Art Gallery opened a new exhibition, this time a solo artist Teodor Botis, bringing together 80 paintings – metaphors, symbols and memories created by the artist in his workshop in Cluj over the last five years.
Teodor Botis is a true Transylvanian, a man who loves living space, that is why we find in his paintings landscapes from Transylvania with hills, houses and villages coverd with snow. “His works are the ice flowers on the window glass, like some embroidery, made by angels or some seams made by a celestial frame,” says George Stanca.
His paintings entitled “Perenity” “Blue Symphony”, “Metamorphosis”, “Mystery” speak in spontaneous touches abot the ideals of the modern man.
The painting of Teodor Botis is unique.
For me the painting is a great love, a love which you have to bestow totally, with pain, with soul, passion and optimism and have the feeling that everything tends to perfection confesses Teodor Botis at the exhibition at Gallery Senso.
Born in 1938, artist Teodor Botis had over 37 solo exhibitions in the country. He received 13 awards and honors. His art is unique and everyone who sees it feels a great joy. His painting is recognized from afar, says the academician Ionel Haiduc, a great lover of art.
The exhibition of can be visited at Senso Art Gallery until the 10th of July 2014. IT is a unique opportunity to admire the paintings that bring the magic and mystery of Transylvania closer!
